“CAN’T YOU JUST GIVE ME A MEAL PLAN?”

I get asked this question DAILY by women who reach out to me asking what they should be eating. "Can't you just give me a meal plan?" They are bored and tired of their usual chicken and broccoli with brown rice dinner and feel the ultimate solution is a meal plan. So they BEG, I mean praying hands BEG, for a meal plan and each and every day I respond with “I don’t give out meal plans!”.

There are a multitude of reasons why I hate meal plans. First off, meal plans are a cookie-cutter guide of what to eat (and not eat). Buuut what happens if you don't like what's on it? Then what..? How will you know what to eat when the meal plan is over? What value do meal plans have if it’s only temporary?

Meal plans only TELL you what to eat, but TEACH you nothing. That’s why adherence to meal plans are low and most people regain the weight AFTER their meal plan. So instead of just throwing meal plans at my clients and telling them what to eat, I TEACH my clients how to create their own meals. That way instead of feeding them for a limited time, I teach them how to feed themselves for LIFE.
